Happy Halloween everybody!!!! Please be safe when trick or treating .. We love to see all the costumes and the children have so much fun. Not to say to much sugar also. I will post pictures of our kiddos later.

We have just 8 days before we board that big plane to see our little princess...

I am much calmer today , that flight tickets are bought and apt" taken care of.

Now i hope i get to play with lots of children at the childrens home while we are there.

I will need that, i am so used to being with our children 24/7. That i will need to get on the floor and interact with the children. Yes , i am bringing lots of toys. I love toys, i am the one in our house who doesn't like to bust loose with the toys. I love to play with our little people sets and we have lots of weebles. There is never any shortage of toys in our house.We use them as learning tools also.

Bella's car seat is in my expedition and safely hooked in. Her eyeore blanket is waiting in her car seat for her along with 2 stuffed animals for the ride home from the airport.

I still wish we could bring home two little girls this trip, but maybe we can go back and bring one more beautiful little girl home.

Yes , We leave to go get our little princess in just 9 days... We are so excited to finally be to this point of our adoption journey. It is time now to get all the things done that we have put off.

We need to make more lists of things to get done.Ya right Gary says, he thinks i have to many lists.

We have confirmed our Ministry appt; NOV 10TH, not sure of the time yet.

We will be staying in E.E. for 12 nights. We hope to see lots of sites while we are there.

Our flights are 20 hours long. WOW

We are trying to confirm everything... It looks like we will be leaveing on Nov 8th, our meeting with the Ministry Officials will be on the 10th,and then we meet our little princes..we can't wait to see them both.. We are so excited with this great news!!!

~We need to be hopeful for the best travel dates~

We are hopeful for the pefect travel dates.We need a Ministry appt;; EITHER Nov,10th,11th,or12th. We are still trying to see if there would be any open flights around Thanksgiving but not sure of that. We need to be back in the USA.on the 22nd or the 23rd of Nov. We are praying that all will work out for the best.We are hopeful that our facilitator can work miracles for us. We have come this far , we need to finish this adoption up soon, and bring our Bella home soon.

~~We have just heard from our facilitator~~

We will not be traveling this next week, to get our little girl. It seems they don't want us there until atleast Nov 17th or later. We can not go then~ because Gary has drivers who need to go on vacation and we have our older daughter who is having surgery on Nov 25th, and we are taking care of our 3 grandchildren while she has surgery.

It is getting to the end of the year, Gary's drivers and Gary also need to use up there vacation time or they loose them and the pay. So we are in a crisis here for time to be able to travel.

Please pray the Minisrty Officials will work with us for the perfect date to be there. Yes i am in tears , it is so hard to hear that we can not travel right now to get our little girl. We are very up set with this. We have been waiting for that perfect travel date, but not sure it is every going to get here.

We have not heard yet from our facilitator today, but we have heard on flight prices for this short of notice. Anybody have any extra Ramen noodles we can have. Wow we will be on a strict diet over there. Maybe we will need to walk alot. That would be very good for us.

~Today's news~~

This is from our facilitator today.I've talked to the ministry officials today.There is still a small job to do with Magda's dossier,but the lawyer will let me know tomorrow about your travel date.I asked for the 3th November,and expect to have the answer tomorrow.

So we pray we will get our travel date tomorrow!!!

Making lists~ cleaning the house spotless~

We all have been very busy today, we have been trying to get the house cleaned.That is three floors of rooms to clean. Getting the laundry all caught up and things put back in there place.
We have also been making lots of lists for Grandma and big sister Amber. They will be taking care of our 4 smaller children at home. We need to get all the school work ready for them to teach the children for the two weeks that we will be gone to get Bella.

The luggage is ready, i hope i didn't forget anything. I put the locks on them and now they are ready for us to travel. Bella's new car seat is ready to be put in my Expedition, along with all the luggage.

I just hope we get that travel date on Monday after J's, meeting with the Ministry Officials. We are praying we will travel to E.E. the first week of November. Yes that would be next week.We are so ready to go to get our little princess. We will try to enjoy our trip also, i am sure we will miss our children at home . But this is also a long over due honeymoon for Gary & I . We are really looking forward to seeing the sights in E.E. not to mention all the children. I know i will want to bring them all home with us.If they would let me i sure would. We love taking care of our children.We would love to have a few more to take care of.

Getting our children ready for us to be gone.We have been trying to get the children ready for us to be away from them for two weeks. I sure hope they do fine . Now if Mom & Dad will be alright away from the children.

Now to get enough groceries for all of them for when we are gone.

PLEASE PRAY WE WILL GET OUR TRAVEL DATE ON MONDAY THIS COMING WEEK, SO WE CAN TRAVEL THE FIRST WEEK OF NOVEMBER. We are ready to be able to leave on Saturday next week, Nov 1st if we need to.

We just heard from J, she said Magda~Bella is in the ~Central Resistry!!!! So now we just need a date to travel to her country to visit with her and be able to bring our little princess home.We are praying for a quick travel date. It is so hard waiting for that special travel date.We hope to be able to travel ?? maybe the first week of Nov .Not sure if that will happen but we can hope for that.So please say a prayer we get a travel date very soon... TODAY WAS GIRLS PAMPER DAY.. WE HAD A LOT OF FUN.. FIRST OFF MOM GAVE MC KENZIE A NEW HAIR CUT AND STYLE ALSO HIGHLIGHTED HER HAIR. DEZTANY GOT A NEW HAIR CUT AND STYLE ALSO.

THEN MOM PAINTED MCKENZIE'S FINGER AND TOE NAILS. DEZTANY AND MEGAN DID THERE OWN THIS TIME. MCKENZIE GOT A SUPER PAMPER DAY FOR BEING VERY GOOD. WE TRY TO PAMPER THE KIDDOS IF THEY STAY ON GOOD BEHAVIOR FOR ATLEAST A WEEK. THAT IS PRETTY HARD FOR DEZ AND ANDY TO DO , BUT THEY ARE GOING TO TRY REALLY HARD THIS WEEK. DEZTANY WOULD ALSO LIKE HIGHLIGHTS IN HER HAIR. SO WE HOPE SHE CAN HAVE GOOD BEHAVIOR ALL WEEK. THEN SHE WILL GET HIGHLIGHTS IN HER HAIR. FOR ANDY WHEN HE MAKES A FULL WEEK HE WILL GET TO CHOOSE A SPECIAL THING TO DO WITH JUST HIM AND DAD. SO WE ARE VERY HOPEFUL THEY WILL BOTH WORK HARD AT THERE BEHAVIOR ALL WEEK. THE GIRLS AND I WHEN WE WERE DONE PAMPERING , WE WENT TO WAL-MART TO DO SOME SHOPPING . THE GIRLS LOVED THIS. MOM DOESN'T USUALLY GO TO WAL-MART. SHE USUALLY SENDS DAD AND KENZIE TO SHOP. SO ALL THE GIRLS HAD A GREAT DAY.

BUT SHE WOULD WAKE UP AND BE VERY HAPPY . THANK GOODNESS I THINK THAT HELPED ME ALOT TO ALSO GET THROUGH EACH AND EVERY SURGERY. SHE IS A VERY STRONG AND INDEPENDENT YOUNG WOMAN. WE ARE SO PROUD OF HER. WE WILL BE PRAYING THAT AFTER THIS SURGERY SHE WILL NOT HAVE TO HAVE ANY MORE. THAT WOULD BE AN ANSWERED PRAYER.

2. ALL ALLERGY SHEETS READY SO EVERYBODY KNOWS WHAT ALLERGIES EACH CHILD HAS. INS.CARDS COPIED FOR EACH CHILD.
3. ALL MEDICATIONS MARKED FOR EACH CHILD AND HOW MUCH THEY TAKE AND HOW OFTEN THEY TAKE EACH MED.
4.EACH CHILDS ROUTINE , FOR THE DAY , AND BED TIME FOR EACH CHILD. YES THEY ALL HAVE A DIFFERENT BED TIME.
5.I THINK THE HARD PART FOR GRANDMA AND SISSY WILL BE TO HAVE TO REMIND DEZ , TO DO THINGS. SOMETIMES IT TAKES A FEW REMINDS BEFORE SHE GETS THINGS DONE.YOU CAN ONLY GIVE DEZ ONE THING TO DO AT A TIME, OR SHE WILL FORGET WHAT SHE IS SUPPOSE TO DO.
6.LUGGAGE IS PACKED ~~RE-PACKED LOTS OF TIMES.
7. LOTS OF GIFTS TO TAKE WITH US, 2 BIG DUFFLES BAGS FULL OF GIFTS. 30 FLEECE BLANKETS TO TAKE FOR THE LITTLE CHILDREN, PUT IN SPACE BAGS AND TAKE THE AIR OUT. THAT SAVED A LOT OF SPACE. WE ALSO ARE BRINGING BOOKS TO GIVE OUT. NUMEROUS GIFTS FOR EVERYBODY INVOLVED IN THE ADOPTION PROCESS.
8.LAP TOP READY~ DIGITAL CAMERA READY~ EXTRA BATTERIES TO TAKE WITH US.
9. LOTS OF TOYS TO BRING WITH US, FORMULA, PEDI- SURE AND BABY FOOD , FINGER FOODS AND SUCKERS. WE ALSO HAVE SOME BREAKFAST BARS FOR US AND MICROWAVE POPCORN,I ONLY WISH I COULD BRING A FEW CASES OF DIET MOUNTAIN DEW. I HAVE TO LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE IF I HAVE TO DRINK WATER , MAYBE I WILL LOOSE A COUPLE POUNDS.

~~LEARNING ABOUT DOWN SYNDROME~~

WE HAVE BEEN WORKING WITH CHILDREN FOR 28 YEARS, OVER THAT TIME WE HAVE WORKED WITH LOTS OF CHILDREN. MOST OF THE CHILDREN HAVE HAD SOME SPECIAL NEEDS. WE HAVE ALWAYS HAD A SPECIAL PLACE IN OUR HEARTS FOR BABIES, CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH DOWN SYNDROME. WE HAVE LEARNED ALOT ABOUT OTHER SPECIAL NEEDS~~BUT THIS WILL BE A FIRST FOR US TO PARENT A CHILD WITH DOWN SYNDROME. YES, IT IS OCTOBER 1ST. BRAND NEW MONTH TO COUNT DOWN TO SEE IF WE GET A TRAVEL DATE THIS MONTH. WE CAN ONLY HOPE . IT IS ALSO DOWN SYNDROME AWARENESS MONTH. YES WE WOULD LOVE TO GET BELLA HOME THIS MONTH AND CELEBRATE DOWN SYNDROME AWARENESS WITH HER. YES SHE DOES HAVE DOWN SYNDROME AND WE ARE VERY PROUD OF HER.

YES, CHILDREN WITH DOWN SYNDROME LEARN A LITTLE SLOWER THAN TYPICAL CHILDREN. BUT ANY CHILD WITH SPECIAL NEEDS LEARNS SLOWER. SO WE HAVE BEEN THERE BEFORE. WE HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN, AND THEY ALL WORK AT THEIR OWN PACE. WE DON'T RUSH THEM , WE GO AT THEIR SPEED.SOME DAYS WE GET ALOT DONE , OTHER DAYS WE GET A LITTLE DONE. IT JUST DEPENDS ON THE WAY THEY FEEL. IF WE ARE ALL HAVING A GOOD DAY. THEN WE GET ALOT OF WORK DONE.YAY!!


YES,A NEW MONTH. I TOOK THE LUGGAGE BACK OUT .YES AND I REPACKED IT AGAIN. HUBBY CHECKED THE AIRLINES. IT COSTS 150.00 TO 200.00 DOLLARS FOR EACH EXTRA BAG YOU NEED TO CHECK IN. SO I HAD TO TAKE SOME TOYS OUT , GET SPACE SAVER BAGS TO PACK THE FLEECE BLANKETS IN AND THEN YOU USE THE VACCUM TO SUCK THE AIR OUT OF THE BAGS. MAKES IT A LOT SMALLER TO TRY AND PACK.YES THEN I HAD TO WEIGHT THE BAGS , CAN'T BE OVER WEIGHT EITHER. OUR OLDER DAUGHTER AMBER TOLD ME "CAN'T YOU SHIP THIS STUFF OVER TO BELLA'S COUNTRY. NO NO AND NO . IT COSTS A LOT TO SHIP THINGS THERE. SO I WILL HAVE TO REARRANGE THE LUGGAGE TO GET IT ALL TO FIT. ~ I HOPE~. I AM SURE WE CAN'T GO WITH OUT ANYTHING, WHILE WE ARE OVER THERE.
